FAQ
Planning an EV Charger Install in Kerikeri
Yes — many Kerikeri properties have longer cable runs from the switchboard to the carport or garage. We'll plan the route, dig trenches if needed, and run the appropriate cable for the distance.
Only if your property has three-phase supply. Many newer rural Kerikeri builds do; older homes usually don't. We'll check during the site visit and let you know your options.
Most single-phase 7kW chargers are installed in a single visit. Three-phase or longer cable runs may take a day or so.
Either works. We can supply at sharp pricing on Tesla, Wallbox, EO and others — or install a unit you've already bought.
No building or council consent is required for a standard EV charger install — but it must be done by a registered electrician and certified. We provide the compliance certificate.
