Our Story
Built locally, run locally
Gibson Electric has been wiring Northland homes and installing heat pumps for over 20 years. We started as a small two-person Whangarei electrical outfit and have grown to a full team serving both Whangarei and the Bay of Islands — but our approach hasn't changed: do the work properly, charge what was quoted, and stand behind it.
Today we cover everything from a single power point through to full new-build wiring, switchboard upgrades, EV chargers, and the supply and installation of leading heat pump brands. Every job is done by a registered electrician, every job comes with a compliance certificate, and every job is backed by the Master Electricians NZ workmanship guarantee.
