FAQ
Whangarei Urgent Electrician Costs & Questions
We don't guarantee round-the-clock 24/7 cover, but we do run an urgent service for Whangarei — we can often fit in early-morning, late-evening and weekend jobs when you can't wait for the next standard booking. Call 027 752 9442 and we'll tell you the soonest we can get to you.
Things like a burning or hot smell from outlets or your switchboard; sparking, arcing or buzzing; total power loss in your home (with neighbours unaffected); RCDs that trip and won't reset; or visible damage to wiring or outlets. If in doubt, give us a call.
We prioritise urgent calls and aim to get to you as soon as we can. When you call 027 752 9442 we'll give you a realistic ETA based on where our team is and the time of day.
If there's smoke, burning smell, or visible damage — turn off the main switch on your switchboard if you can do so safely, and don't touch the affected outlet or appliance. Keep the area clear. We'll talk you through anything else on the phone.
Standard-hours work is charged at our normal rates. Early-morning, after-hours and weekend callouts have a higher minimum charge — we'll be upfront on the phone before we set off. No mystery invoices.
